Hello. Hola. Ciao.

About Me

A Little About Me

IMG_3358.jpg

Hi there! I'm Ashley, and I've been reading since I could hold a book in my hands. I believe the words we use, and the way we use them, are important. They can build bridges, connect disparate minds, and take us to worlds we could never have imagined.

I also believe in the spiritual power of art of all kinds - novels, painting, poetry, architecture, music - these pursuits connect us to our highest selves and make us human.

Now I'm going to let you in on a little secret:

We don't tell stories, paint, or compose simply to entertain ourselves. We create things to bring a sense of order to our very chaotic world, and to tell ourselves how we fit within it.

Creativity + Communication = Connection.

I love knowing that the same questions I ask today have been asked by hundreds of thousands of people before me, and through their words, their paintings, their actions, and their lives, they tell me what they loved, wrestled with, and fought for.

It's this passion that drives me to help you learn from the people who came before us, to find your own unique voice, and polish it to perfection.

What story are you building today?
